• ISTC is an intergovernmental organization founded by the European Union, Japan, Russia and the United States in November 1992; operations began in March 1994.

• Total member countries in the ISTC: 39

• Over 74,530 scientists from Russia and the CIS have recieved grants from ISTC

•$529.5M paid in research grants in total

• Full range of supporting programs: commercialization and innovation; travel support; communication; intellectual property; competency building
